Pilot drill 2.0 mm
50 rpm without irrigation or 600 rpm with irrigation; at least 1 mm of bone should remain vestibularly and orally.

Low-speed drilling
Bone chips harvested by the drills are ready for augmentation.

Insertion
≤ 50 Ncm at ≤ 30 rpm; the final drill diameter is chosen for the bone quality.

Crestal support
Bone chips are placed into the circular gap between implant and osteotomy before wound closure.
