Routes

i-connect abutment, short
  1. 01

    i-cement — cemented

Single crowns are cemented extraorally to avoid cement excess in the sulcus; intraoral cementation remains possible for bridgework.

  2. 02

    i-connect — screw-retained

Splinted crowns, bridges and bars; compatible with the well-known multi-unit geometry, so common CAD/CAM framework workflows apply.

  3. 03

    i-conometric — friction-retained

Cement-free seating of bridges with a 5° conical cap that compensates axial divergences, cold-welded at 15 Ncm.

  4. 04

    i-ball and i-locator — removable

Retention of removable dentures; the retentive element is seated at 15 Ncm and the housing is polymerised into the denture base.

Seating

All abutments are placed on the i-LiNQ® component one storey above the bone; no prosthetic step re-enters bone level. For i-connect and i-conometric restorations a two-step impression technique is recommended.
